Julian Alps
(słoweń. Julijske Alpe, owned by Alpi Giul ie) - part of the Limestone Alps równoleżnikowo extending over a length of about 100 km from north-eastern Italy to Slovenia. Ar e confined to the north through the valley of the Sava, and the w estern valleys of the Tagliamento and Felli. From the Alps Karnijskich separated by district Pontebba-Tarvisio. Julian Alps highest peak is Triglav (2864 m) Other important peaks on their premises developed forestry, farming and tourism in particular.
